LONDON-SOUTHWARK – IN-BETWEEN-CITIES
The proposal is both image and instrument for the urban debate, flexible enough to adapt to changing parameters but still acting as an urban icon and impulse to the civic discussion, a field for the debate on the site‘s future. All spaces are programmatically open; usage-neutrality is a key parameter. It is a conglomerate, which by means of different structures, depths and situations, by various accessions and spatial relations offers multiple ways of appropriation. It invites a proximity of commercial and social functions, of leisure, work and inhabitation. The volumes are two ‘Big Simplifiers’, wrapped in screen-like hulls to homogenise their complexity.
CONVERSION OF BREMEN GRANARY
The extreme vertical & horizontal depth of the granary offers „8 Worlds“ potential neighbourhoods and transitions. The vertical extensions stretch the ground area upwards and thus they weave the programs. Together they form a conglomerate: each works for itself, but benefits from the other.

CAMP REINSEHLEN-CONVERSION STUDY
Conversion-planning of a former British Military Tank Training Camp – 7 Complexes are embedded and find their place by directly connecting to their environment. 7 addresses appear: forest, alley, junction, vastness, row, clearing and slope. Because of its size, the complexes generates a significant presence in the landscape – almost like a farm. The concept is designed to grow in steps and in each phase to appear as a homogeneous unit. The ‘complex’ is also a marketing tool for a flexible and sustainable development.
